A New Covenant I Will Make With The House Of Israel And The House Of Judah

Jeremiah 31:31 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: 32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD:
The Lord God made a promise To Abraham and his progenitor after the Lord called him out of the land of Ur.
Genesis 12 ;1
Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I
will show thee:
2 And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: 3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.

I will try to establish who this people are.  A new creation a spiritual people living in redeemed bodies.  Romans 8 :23.

This "Great Nation: shall be fulfilled in the lineage of
the seed of Isaac the promised son of Abraham and that seed, not seeds is Jesus Christ.  Gal.3 :
16 Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.
And the seed of  Jesus Christ will be the final  and last generation an eternal generation.  Isaial  53 :
8 He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken. 9 And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth. 10 Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see His seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand. 11 He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.
He shall see His seed ?  Mat. 1 : 17 So all the generations from Abraham to David are fourteen generations; and from David until the carrying away into Babylon are fourteen generations; and from the carrying away into Babylon unto Christ are fourteen generations. Count them.
The Christ is the the born again children of God Jesus Christ  They are a new creation.  Ps. 102 :18 This shall be written for the generation to come: and the people which shall be created shall praise the LORD.

Then the Lord God  made a covenant  with Abraham about the land to which the LORD called him to.

Genesis  12 : 5 And Abram took Sarai his wife, and Lot his brother's son, and all their substance that they had gathered, and the souls that they had gotten in Haran; and they went forth to go into the land of Canaan; and into the land of Canaan they came. 6 And Abram passed through the land unto the place of Sichem, unto the plain of Moreh. And the Canaanite was then in the land. And the LORD appeared unto Abram, and said, Unto thy seed will I give this land: and there builded he an altar unto the LORD, who appeared unto him.  The  land of  Israel  belongs to the Lord God  Almighty.   Liviticus  25 : 23 The land shall not be sold for ever: for the land is mine, for ye are strangers and sojourners with me.  The lord was talking to the  Israelites at that time.
Genesis 17 : 5 Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee. 6 And I will make thee exceeding fruitful, and I will make nations of thee, and kings shall come out of thee. 7 And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee. 8 And I will give unto thee, and to thy seed after thee, the land wherein thou art a stranger, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will be their God.  An ever lasting possession means just that as a eternal with out end possession.  The inheritance of an eternal people not the corrupt flesh of the old Adam.  Ps. 37 : 9 For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait {serve} upon the LORD, they shall inherit the earth.

The First Covenant with Israel.

In Exodus 12 the first passover was instigated when the Israelites were in Egypt as slaves by the slaying of an innocent lamb one with out blemish type of Jesus}and it's blood put on the door posts of each Israelite family to protect them from the death angle for without the shedding of blood there is no forgivness of sin for the wages of sin is death. Then at Mount Sinai  GOD through Moses gave the law " The Ten Commandments" which no one could keep in the corrupt flesh, these were given to show mankind that they needed a savior if you broke one you were guilty of them all.  Then came the  tabernacle in the wilderness with the ark of the covenant and the feastables all types and shadows of better things to come.
Jesus said, Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill.
We have a far greater covenant through Jesus Christ one that can make us perfect.  Ephesians 4:13

The Second and Last there is now no need for another

Hebrews 8 :8 For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah 9 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord. 10 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people: 11 And they shall not teach every man his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest. 12 For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more. 13 In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away.
CH.9: 6 Now when these things were thus ordained, the priests went always into the first tabernacle, accomplishing the service of God. 7 But into the second went the high priest alone once every year, not without blood, which he offered for himself, and for the errors of the people: 8 The Holy Spirit thus signifying, that the way into the holiest of all was not yet made manifest, while as the first tabernacle was yet standing: 9 Which was a figure for the time then present, in which were offered both gifts and sacrifices, that could not make him that did the service perfect, as pertaining to the conscience; 10 Which stood only in meats and drinks, and divers washings, and carnal ordinances, imposed on them until the time of reformation. 11 But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building; 12 Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us. 13 For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh: 14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? 15 And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament.

Jer
emiah's Prophecy of the New Covenant in Jesus Christ

Jeremiah 31: 31 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: 32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD:
Please note that in this portion of the prophecy he mentions both houses of IsraelWhy? Judah has been brought back into the land in unbelief and until the word spoken in Ezekiel 37 about  the two house of Israel being made one the second part of Jeremiah's prophecy will not be fulfilled.

Ezekeil 37:
19 Say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will take the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel his fellows, and will put them with him, even with the stick of Judah, and make them one stick, and they shall be one in mine hand. 20 And the sticks whereon thou writest shall be in thine hand before their eyes. 21 And say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will take the children of Israel from among the heathen, whither they be gone, and will gather them on every side, and bring them into their own land: 22 And I will make them one nation in the land upon the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king to them all: and they shall be no more two nations, neither shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more at all. 23 Neither shall they defile themselves any more with their idols, nor with their detestable things, nor with any of their transgressions: but I will save them out of all their dwelling places, wherein they have sinned, and will cleanse them: so shall they be my people, and I will be their God.  I believe that Ephraim is the Church of the first born.  Jeremiah 31:9 I am a father to Israel, and Ephraim is my firstborn.
Acts1:
6 When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel? 7 And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power.
Restoration of all things? The devided Kingdom?  Acts 3:
21Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.Acts 2: 34 "For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he saith himself, The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, 35 Until I make thy foes thy footstool."  What ever is pure think on these things.

Second part of Jeremiah's prophecy

Jeremiah  31:33But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people. 34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.

The above scripture Jerm. 31:33-34, has and is being fulfilled since the Cross and penticost with the saving of the remnant of Judah and those that are called gentiles for the last almost 2000 years.  I believe many of  these so called  gentiles are the scattered Israelites of the northern Kingdom that do not know their identity.  I was praying to the Lord many years ago saying I wish I was a Jew and I heard Him say "You Are! you are of the tribe of Benjamin." Although Judah remained visable, Israel the northern tribes there is a remnant that has been preserved to be brought back to the land of Israel to filfill  Ezek. 37 and all Israel being saved and united as one new man in Christ Jesus.   Nothing is impossable to our God To kill or to make alive. Now in these next scriptures.  We need to understand that scripture have what I call a dual or triple fulfilment such as Deut. 18:18 coinciding with the timing and fulfilment of scripture.

Jeremiah 32:
36 "And now therefore thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel, concerning this city,{Jerusalam} whereof ye say, It shall be delivered into the hand of the king of Babylon by the sword, and by the famine, and by the pestilence; 37  Behold, I will gather them out of all countries, whither I have driven them in mine anger, and in my fury, and in great wrath; and I will bring them again unto this place, and I will cause them to dwell safely: Note: The Jews have been brought bact to their land in 1948 but they do not dwell safely.  38 And they shall be my people, and I will be their God: 39 And I will give them one heart, and one way, that they may fear me for ever, for the good of them, and of their children after them: 40 And I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from them, to do them good; but I will put my fear in their hearts, that they shall not depart from me. 41 Yea, I will rejoice over them to do them good, and I will plant them in this land assuredly with my whole heart and with my whole soul."  This has fulfilment after the great falling away spoke of by the Apostal Paul in Thessalonians 2:3 speaking of the Church.

Ps.25:14 The secret of the LORD is with them that fear him; and he will shew them his covenant.

This is a day that the saints of GOD need to obey the Word of Jesus Christ for we shall live by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God or we will find our selves being caught up in the judgments that are in the world.
Don't be like Lots wife who looked back at Sodom where her  heart and possessions were  and both were destroyed.
